The target audience is so different than transmission for linux desktop installations that it could even be listed separately . On ubuntu it’s installed using “apt-get install transmission-daemon” and configured with the
“/etc/transmission-daemon/settings.json” file. (don’t edit the file while the daemon is running)

It is mainly accessed through web and is very compact.
